1st Northern California High School Student Club Sponsorship

Purpose:
Our program aims at encouraging Asian-American youths to participate in worthwhile clubs and community service activities so as to enhance and cultivate their leadership potential, organizational capacities, teamwork skills, and interest in arts, technology, and sciences.

Procedure:
1.    Any Northern California High School student participating in a student club (more than 10 members) is qualified to apply. (Including: technology, biotechnology, academic, cultural, arts, sports, social and other fields.)
2.    Download the application form from http://sf.worldjournal.com/sites261/assets/application2011.pdf,
or by clicking here. You can also pick one up at a local IvyMax Learning Center (toll free: 1-800-826-8387).
3.    E-mail the application form to studentclub@ivymax.com by 10/27/2011.
4.    A committee will select 15 qualified clubs. The winning clubs will be honored at a public ceremony and receive a sponsorship of $300 dollars each.

Awards Ceremony:
1.    Time: November 6, 2011, from 3:30PM to 5:30PM
2.    Place: Crowne Plaza 777 Bellew Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035

第一屆北加州高中社團獎學金申請計畫

主旨：為鼓勵華裔青少年積極參與正當社團活動，培養華裔青少年提昇領袖潛質、組織能力、團隊合作、熱心公益、關懷社會、創新科技、熱愛藝術、關注人文為目的。
說明：一、凡北加州各公、私立高中，由學生組織之校內、外正當學生社團，社團成員在10 人以上者，均可報名參加甄選。(包括：科技、生化、學術、人文、藝術、體育、 社會等各領域。)
二、報名方式：參加甄選之社團，点此下載申請表。 填妥申請表所需資訊，將由社會公正人士遴選出15個最富意義、最有價值及最具活力的社團，每一社團將獲300美元之獎學金。
三、報名截止日期：2011年10月27日。

頒獎時間：2011年11月6日下午3:30~5:30
